8 years ago I posted this king cake recipe on my blog. It is great and delicious and is a great alternative for those who have to be dairy free.
Over the past few years I have been experimenting with different sweeteners and really trying to mimic gluten filled pastries and treats! Using my new Sweet Baking mix and my new Sweetener, SHUGA2, I have re-created the perfect king cake without all the carbs and gluten! ?

NOTE: You can use other sweeteners for the fillings and glaze. If using a cup-for-cup sweetener, use 1/2 the amount as the recipe calls for. Example: If the recipe calls for 3 tablespoons of SHUGA2 Sweetener then you can use 1-1/2 tablespoons of a Swerve granular sweetener. 🙂
