Extra Yummy Sauce

April 3, 2014 By satisfyingeats 3 Comments

yummy sauceThe name of this sauce pretty much sums it up… YUMMY! It’s my version of the white sauce they serve you at Japanese restaurants (which I would pour over my entire plate)! You can also buy it in the grocery store but it is full of yucky ingredients including soybean oil and corn syrup, just to name a few!

I posted this recipe originally in my first cookbook, Satisfying Eats, to enjoy with my Pork Fried “Rice” and have since included it in with my Asian Fried Cabbage! The recipes by themselves are good but when you pour this sauce on, you have just taken the taste over the top!

Here are some other serving suggestions for this AMAZING sauce:

  1. With Chicken Tenders
  2. With Oven Wings
  3. On burgers
  4. Over steak
  5. As a veggie dip
  6. With baked or grilled chicken
  7. With baked, broiled or fried fish
  8. Use as a sandwich spread
  9. Use in the place of mayo in tuna or chicken salad
  10. With my Smokey Salmon Burgers (recipe coming up tomorrow)

Smokey Salmon Burgers with Extra Yummy Sauce

My husband thinks that this sauce would even make dirt taste good but lets not go that far! Whatever you pour it over or use like a dip for will 100% taste better! 🙂

How do you eat your Extra Yummy Sauce??
