I’m trying to purchase your new cookbook comforting eats and I can’t seem to be able to buy it. Is it still for sale. I want the spiral bound book.

      • Jan says

I would like to purchase your starter kit but the “page is not available”. I am in Alberta so this could be the problem. Please advise Melissa.
        Thanks you.

    • says

Rhonda, thank you for your purchase. Unfortunately right now, they are separate purchases. My IT friend just went out of town and it will be a week until he can create a new button so you can add each book to your cart for one shipping fee. Comforting Eats will shipping out in 1.5-2 weeks… do you want the Satisfying Eats cookbook shipped out on Monday or do you want me to ship them together? I would think you would want the SE cookbook but just let me know!

    • satisfyingeats says

There are about 5 or 6 recipes from Satisfying Eats in the new cookbook… like Mayo, Chicken Stock, etc. There are over 160 new recipes since my first cookbook.

    • satisfyingeats says

Kara, satisfying eats has only net carb counts but my new book Comforting Eats, contains the full nutrition profile for each recipe.

  4. Judy Kennedy says

I ordered Comforting Eats Dec 13th, the payment has come out of my credit card but still no cookbook! I do live in Canada, but it seems to be taking an unusually long time to arrive, can this be checked on somehow? Thanks

I have purchased both of your cookbooks with a starter kit. I initially bought both in ebook form because I just couldn’t wait to try some of the delicious recipes! Both of these cookbooks are my recipe bibles; I use them all the time, along with recipes posted on your blog! I highly recommend getting them. And…using them.

  8. Brenda Hill says

I have both cookbooks, I purchased the first book and the second was a gift. I have tried several of the recipes and LOVE them. I bake cakes for struggling military families and use Melissa’s cream cheese icing on them because it is DELICIOUS and doesn’t have all that sugar and the families don’t know and rave on how good it was!! I will keep getting each new cookbook and I give the link to friends all the time!!

  9. Linda Gowen says

I have bought both cookbooks. The recipes are the best. It is great to be able to have baked goods that taste like the real thing or even better that I wouldn’t be able to have other wise being a diabetic. I even bought the ebooks! Hoping there will be a new one soon!! I will sure buy it! I love all the recipes and can even have birthday cake now! Sugar free but you sure wouldn’t know it!

  10. Trisha Kammers says

Melissa’s recipes are awesome whether you are following a grain free diet or just want to change up your meals. The recipe for the southern style biscuits are to die for. You would not believe they are grain free. My mother, who grew up in the mid west, loved her biscuits and the bacon balsamic barbecue sauce which is great on her meatloaf recipe. I would recommend both her cookbooks.

  11. Jamie says

I have both cookbooks and they are great! My family and I are enjoying them and appreciate all the hard work you have put into these delicious recipes! Thank you so much for making it possible for me to avoid bad stuff yet never feel deprived

  12. Rachel Blackett says

I ordered both books a few months ago and absolutely LOVE them! Was sooooooo worth getting them shipped to NZ, and can’t wait til I have a little more time to be able to cook out of them a bit more. Melissa was an absolute gem, helping me with recipes that weren’t working for me (Worked out that some sizing was different so just had to adjust recipes slightly) and was happy to answer my never ending emails 😉 Would highly recommend getting the books!

  13. says

Melissa has some awesome recipes in her cookbooks, I have them both. I purchased the Satisfying Eats as an e-book and on the Comforting Eats I bought it off her blog and I dearly LOVE the spiral bound book! She has one more AWESOME Southern Biscuit recipe in that one and I do mean awesome! I don’t miss wheat biscuits at all. Thank you Melissa for all you do for us and the time you spend making your recipes.

  14. Karen says

Prchased both of your cookbooks (ebooks). A numbet of your recipes we use weekly, ex: chicken broth, rous-less chicken and sausage gumbo, best homemade mayo, oven hot wings. So glad we bought these. Thank you Melissa!

  15. Ann says

I have both cookbooks and LOVE them. EVERY recipe I have tried has been delicious. Even your spice mixes are divine. I am SO thankful I found your blog! I don’t bother using any other grain free cookbooks or recipes anymore… frankly I was tired of wasting expensive ingredients and getting mediocre results. I have no reservations about making a new recipe as long as its one of yours Melissa. You are TRULY a prodigy! Your amazing creations give me hope I will be able to stay grain and sugar free for life and I’ve tried and failed since I was a teenager. I really can’t thank you enough.
