My fiance and I are just starting a grain free-low carb lifestlye and for his birthday I plan to make your “Melissa’s Famous Cheesecake” modified version. You gave instructions for the whole cheesecake as well as for individual cakes. My question is, the calorie and nutritional information you posted on that page for the mini-cheesecakes or for a slice of a whole cheesecake?

    • satisfyingeats says

Kara, the nutrition content is for the individual cheesecakes or if slicing the cheesecake into the same number. I hope you enjoyed the recipe!

I can’t afford almond flour. Ca somthing like spelt flor be used in it’s place? If not what can be used instead of almond flour? Is there something I should know about spelt?

    • satisfyingeats says

Have you considered making your own almond flour Terri but grinding nuts in your food processor?? I haven’t used spelt (it is a grain) so I would not know the outcome of the recipe.
